Here we are trying out my new Word Ladder scripts for WW 10! Word work used to be such a hassle when my kids had baggies with the entire alphabet. We would spend 5+ minutes just searching through all of the tiles to be ready with the ones we needed for the day. And sometimes we still didn’t have enough of a certain letter! Now, each list that we work on has pre-made baggies with the exact letters needed to make each word. No extras! This saves so much time 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I also created my own word ladder scripts for each list so that I am no longer trying to come up with the word changes on the fly or spending precious time at home preparing word work. And then on top of all that when I shifted my focus into differentiated learning for all, I knew that I had to create an efficient and effective system so that ALL of my student needs were being met – not just those on level! Check out my blog, www.teach2thestudent.com to read about how I set up spelling practice and word work in my classroom so that every student works at their OWN level of instruction, i+1 and no one is bored or frustrated👌🏼you can find these resources on my TPT page as well!

How I Created a Self-Paced, Differentiated Spelling Program for My Students

Are you looking for a way to revamp your spelling block?? Are half of your kids “acing” every test and the other half failing every test?? That is what was happening in my class when I decided there MUST be a better way!!

Every student in your class should be able to work at their OWN level, right where they are ready to learn!!!

Not only do students love to work at their own level (some of your students will FINALLY be able to feel successful in spelling while others will FINALLY feel challenged!) but the parents will love it, too!! The parents will really appreciate you taking the time to place their student at a level of learning that is not only accessible to them, developmentally, but also challenging enough to create growth, not frustration or boredom. … More How I Created a Self-Paced, Differentiated Spelling Program for My Students
